When you come to your first appointment, please show the receptionist your insurance card with valid photo ID. While filling out your health history, Rain’s receptionist will check your benefits and submit the claim for you. Depending on your benefits, you may be covered for up to 100% of your visit (Please call the phone# on the back of your insurance card to inquire about your massage benefits before your visit to Rain). Please note that payment for treatment is ultimately the responsibility of the patient.**
PLEASE NOTE: Please understand that though we provide this service, it does not mean that your particular benefits or insurance company will always cover your treatments here at Rain Wellness.**
PLEASE ALSO NOTE: Most insurance companies require an annual deductible (a specified amount of money that the insured must pay before an insurance company will pay a claim.)**
We are happy to provide Direct Billing to the following insurance companies:
Pacific Blue Cross / Alberta Blue Cross / CanHealth & Dental Plans / Chamber of Commerce Group Insurance / Cowan / Desjardins Insurance / Great West Life / Green Shield / Industrial Alliance / Johnson Inc. / Manulife Financial / Maximum Benefit for Johnston Group / Medavie Blue Cross / MSP (Medical Services Plan) / Standard Life / SunLife Financial
ICBC
If you have an ICBC claim, you will need to pay for your appointment in full before your treatment begins. We will then give you a detailed receipt that you can submit to ICBC for re-imbursement.
WCB
We are currently not taking any new patients for WCB claims.
If you do not see your insurance company above, please contact us and we will inquire if we can set up direct billing for your particular insurance company.
** If for any reason we are unable to direct bill your insurance, we kindly ask you to pay for your treatment in full at time of service. You will then be given a detailed receipt that you can then submit to your insurance company for reimbursement.
